How We Got Started
My name is Joe Barrera, and I’m the proud owner and founder of Ridgeview Irrigation Systems, LLC. Irrigation has always been more than just a job for me—it’s a family trade. Growing up, my dad and relatives worked in the sprinkler industry, and I was right there with them, learning the ropes at a young age.
As I got older, I worked for both commercial and residential sprinkler companies, gaining valuable hands-on experience and learning every aspect of the trade. From troubleshooting small residential repairs to managing large commercial irrigation projects, I developed a deep understanding of how to design, install, and maintain systems that stand the test of time. Being raised in Plano, I have strong ties to this community. I graduated from Plano East Senior High and always knew I wanted to build something here at home.
